About the role:
We are currently on the hunt for a Venue Manager to join our team. We are looking for a hospitality manager who has a desire to help build a strong culture and deliver exceptional customer service. It is integral that you have the passion to provide our guests with the best experience.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Running the daily operations including bar, kitchen, floor, functions & accommodation.
- Front of house venue management – Ongoing walk throughs of the venue to ensure service quality, procedure implementation, cash control and the overall customer experience is being maintained to maximum standards.
- Assisting with managing labour costs to ensure daily targets are met.
- Assisting with the training and development of front of house staff.
- Active involvement in team and management meetings on a weekly basis.
- Ensuring the venue is compliant with RSA, RCG and WHS and dealing with authorities when required.
A bit about you:
- You will have some experience in a venue management or venue supervisor role.
- You will have a genuine passion for hospitality and growing your career in the industry.
- Have a can do, positive and proactive attitude, with exceptional communication skills.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle high pressure situations.
- Be a self-starter, motivated and organised.
- You will display a hands-on and approachable leadership style.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).
- Have full time Australian working rights.
